Overview

The Consulates General of Canada in Los Angeles and San Francisco are hosting a high-level Canada - California Hydrogen Forum to promote the exchange of best practices and cross-border collaboration on hydrogen development, regulation, and commercialization between Canada and California. Canada and California are well-placed to engage in this space, with shared climate goals, deep innovation ecosystems, and emerging hydrogen hubs. The forum will bring together experts and leaders from government, industry, and academia to examin policy alignment, infrastructure development and investment, and regulatory frameworks that can support a growing hydrogen economy across North America. In addition to highlighting progress in both jurisdictions, the Forum will help spotlight practical opportunities for cross-jurisdictional collaboration on hydrogen corridors and infrastructure, codes and standards, and market development.
